We are delighted to announce that our Group Managing Director, Mr. Yashpal Sharma, received the prestigious title of 'Logistics Icon of the Decade’ at the CargoNXT Conference & Recognitions 2023, powered by Cargo Insights today, 26th October 2023, at Gurugram.
The coveted award was presented to Mr. Sharma by Mr. O.P Sharma, Ministry of Civil Aviation in the presence of leading Logistics industry legends and personnel.
Mr. Sharma's recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions to establishing Skyways Group as a prominent player in the logistics industry, spanning various sectors such as air freight, ocean freight, surface transport, express services, LCL consolidation, exhibition logistics, and warehousing. Under his exceptional leadership, the Group has earned numerous accolades over the past few years. Notably, Skyways has held the position of India's top Air freight forwarder for the sixth consecutive year, from 2017 to 2022, as per the World ACD.
The event was themed as Future of Cargo & Logistics Industry in India. During the course of the event powerful panel discussions also took place on key industry issues - 'Ideas on making India a Logistics Hub (Challenges & Opportunities)' and 'Optimizing Supply Chain Operations for Cargo Industry in India.'
