This award has been bestowed upon Mr. Sharma for his unparalleled commitment and invaluable contribution towards establishing Skyways Group as a leading global logistics player that provides state-of-the art logistics solutions- air freight, ocean freight, surface transport, express services, LCL consolidation, expo logistics, warehousing, live animal transport etc. Under his monumental leadership, the Group has grown as a trusted name in the logistics and supply chain world over 4 decades. In addition, he has immensely contributed towards the industry as a great visionary and thought leader with this sectoral expertise encompassing sales, management, customs brokerage, project management, operations, pricing, freight forwarding and more.
Skyways has received several recognitions and accolades under his remarkable leadership. The group has been has been the No. 1 Air freight forwarder of India for 6th Year in a row (From 2017 to 2022) as per the World ACD.
The Northern India Air Cargo Conclave & Awards 2023 witnessed a massive presence of senior delegates for the recognition and acknowledgement of their stellar performance among companies and individuals, selected by an esteemed jury of some of the eminent leaders of the industry. Mr. Sharma was handed out the award by Mr. Pas Atree, Mr. Sanjay Bansal, Mr. Ramesh Mamidala and Mr. Tushar Jani.
